This was one of the games I got for Christmas when I got my own Nintendo System.Yup, I was spoiled then... I even got R.O.B. with the package!But we also got this game and a few others so needless to say, I played Nintendo games for the rest of my Christmas vacation and this was one of the games that dominated the machine.You can play 1 vs. 1 or fight all the way up to meet "The Great Puma" in this one.(How scarey is it that I remember!)I used to play as either 'Amazon', a wrestler that had two special moves - chomping on the face of his opponent and... I forgot the other, but he used to look at the referre when told to stop and shake his head, promising not to do it again.I also used to wrestle as Starman because he used to fly off the top ropes and his rope work was always pretty entertaining, although if you missed it was bad news for him.There were others too that I liked but those were the main ones.The game was a bit easy to finish once you figured out the 'secret'.But it still provided loads of fun.
I still recommend it.It's a very simple, neat, classic Nintendo game that provided lots of fun.There wasn't any blood or gore in it like the wrestling games of today and you couldn't whack people with chairs, etc... this was an old 1980's game, for better or worse, and it's one that me and my family enjoyed.
