This is, hands down, one of my top 5 game favorites of all time.I spent hours playing this when I was 11, and I still take it out and play parts of it a couple times a year. It's one of the more rare and expensive NES titles, so I will summarize for those unable to find it.It's an early Japanese RPG, and you play through the game as Sir Cucumber, out to rescue the captured Princess Tomato with the aid of your quippy sidekick, Percy the persimmon. You navigate through 8 levels, interacting with people, gathering supplies, and fighting enemies (with finger wars!).The story is cute and original--various vegetables forming a Resistance to overthrow the occupying Farmies--the music is memorable, and the graphics are a little better than the average NES title.Navigation is primitive, since you use the d-pad and A button to click on various commands flanking both sides of the screen (look, give, talk, check, take, fight, etc).It was a game a bit ahead of its time...seems ripe for a Nintendo DS revamp!Highly recommended, pick it up if you see it!
