This is a very engaging simulation.
You step in the role of a young Portuguese ship captain who wishes to regain for his family the respect they once had.So you will sail around the world, gaining fame and fortune.Periodically you will be asked by the King of Portugal to do favors for him.Since this is what lets you win the game, you of course will drop everything to do his wishes.
While you do not engage in swordplay, you will get to do many ship battles, all of which will please munchkins.Simply get a better fleet than your oponents, and you will win.
There's even a little romance.
