Come on people.Let's stop slamming this game and take it for what it is.It's a simple, basic game designed for little children or others who are completely new to RPGs.This isn't meant for people who've been raised on FF6, 7 and 8.Now, when you take it for what it is, it's actually pretty cool.10 mandatory battles before proceeding is really not that bad compared to random battles--at least this way you can do your fighting and get it over with instead of getting attacked every 2 steps like in FF7 or 8.
Also, this game has the absolute BEST battle music I've ever heard in a Final Fantasy game.
Now, the graphics are simple, the music is simple, the story is very simple... everything about this game is simple.It's like the Sesame Street of RPGs, and that's exactly what it was designed for.If you just take it for what it is, it's not that bad at all.
