The Simpsons: Bartman Meets Radioactive Man Review

The Simpsons: Bartman Meets Radioactive ManThis is a very playable and enjoyable game. The controls in this game are the easiest to handle of all the Simpsons NES games. This game is closer to Bart Vs. The World in terms of game play, as it was the follow up. In this game you use eye beams and can freeze enemies. B button is used for a punch and kick combo, and is also used for the eye beams you shoot out. This is different from the other games as you couldn't kick or punch, and used lazer beams instead of cherry bombs. Of course the game is about avoiding enemies and jumping on platforms, but you can also fly and swim in this game. Swimming is also a different feature this game has. The levels are easy to navigate however they can sometimes be confusing as certain parts of the levels are meant for gathering bonus items and extra lives, not for progressing through the level. Played with an online walkthrough this is a very beatable game. I would of liked to have seen skateboarding in this game but I don't think it would have worked with the way the levels are set up. What makes this game easier than the other Simpsons NES games is you get to continue a couple of times if you run out of lives. Just like every other Simpsons games for NES and SNES, you play the entire game as Bart. The game kinda makes it seem like you can play with Fallout Boy as he's featured, but you can't. Bosses in the game are really easy especially if you read an online walkthrough. Radioactive Man's enemies have trapped him in the Limbozone and Fall Out Boy finds Bart in his treehouse to help him save Radioactive Man. Get Radioactive Man out of the Limbo Zone and together you take on the last boss Brain-O The Magnificent. (Who's really easy to beat) If your wondering what NES Simpsons game to get go with Bart Vs The World, and if you like it get this one too. Even if your not a Simpsons fan this is a solid NES game to buy.

The Simpsons - Bart vs. The World Review

The Simpsons - Bart vs. The WorldI could vaguely remember this game as a kid when I bought it here on Amazon a couple of weeks ago. All I could remember was skateboarding the Great Wall of China and answering Simpons trivia questions. That was enough for me to pick this up for under $5 bucks and reconnect with my youth. In the past I've bought games I remember playing as a kid and played them now and was let down. It wasn't the case with this game. At first the controls for this game were tough. And it took me forever to beat part 1 of the north pole. But once you beat a level the next time you play it you go through it with relative ease. Which is good because it makes the game challenging but still something you can beat. The bonus games on here are so much fun. You really get that nostalgic feeling playing memory with Simpons characters, and doing the picture puzzles. It's pretty much everything you want in a Simpsons game. You get to skateboard, fly, and use cherry bombs as weapons. You play as Bart for the entire game. Mr. Burns has rigged the art contest on the Krusty the Clown show. It's set up so Bart can win the trip around the world to collect all the Krusty the Clown collectibles. While on the treasure hunt Mr. Burns and Smithers plan to wipe the Simpsons off the planet. Collect all the Krusty pieces from China, The North Pole, Egypt, and finnally Hollywood. There's two endings to this game which I like. You can beat the game without collecting the Krusty pieces but the ending is terrible. Go back and beat the game with all the unique collectibles the Simpsons family gives you through out the game, and you get the alternate ending where you get to throw a pie in MR. Burns' and Smithers face. The serious gamer who's not really into the Simpsons might find this game lame. But if you love the Simpsons and are familar with there other games for NES and SNES add this to your collection. This is definitely the best of the Simpsons NES games.

Simpsons: Bart Vs. The Space Mutants Review

Simpsons: Bart Vs. The Space MutantsI can't believe no one has reviewed this game so far. This is one of the NES's most interesting games, because it seemed like EVERYONE was playing it back in the day.Just when you think you were the only one who owned Bart vs. the Space Mutants, think again!

I figure I mine as well drop a review for this game to celebrate the Simpsons 20th season coming up.... later today (it's 3:30 am at the time I write this).20 years of the greatest comedy ever created!

Well, the game is REALLY hard (it's the NES, what do you expect!!)The very first level is a skateboard level where you have to move around objects, and jump over them. It's a lot harder than it sounds.Maybe with some serious practice the game gets easier, I don't know, but I was struggling BIG time with this game as a kid, and continue to struggle with it.

My favorite memory was the giant Nintendo Power poster of this games cover that I hung up on the wall for years and years, until I thought I was too old to have posters on my wall so I took them all down.I still kept it though!
