The Ninja Gaiden series had some of the greatest games on the NES.Ninja Gaiden trilogy has all three of these games with slightly improved graphics.The controls are a little quirky, and the graphics aren't that much better than the NES version, but the games are great nonetheless.This is a must-buy for fans of the series.Want to buy Ninja Gaiden Trilogy at other amazon sites? Ninja gaiden III it's top 5 stars, back in 1992 i had to be the biggestninja gaiden freak there was, i had played and beat all 3 parts in 1 summer,ninja gaiden one is a breeze that i can beat in 30 minutes tops, ninja gaiden II they put alot of work in the music in that game in my opinion capturing the "thunder and savvy of tecmo music!" as weird as that may sound, but it's pure entertainment ,splitting ryu's body into 3 parts helps you through that, and fighting jaquio in a rematch but to a failing attempt,ninja gaiden III is not so easy with badder enemies after ryu, and has betrayal,they didn't put as much effort into the music as the second part but is was enough tp keep people interested,with ryu's power sword and vaccum blades etc,jaquio and ashtar are not there but badder enemies are, next to mega man, contra or even mario bros. the best game ever...Want to buy Ninja Gaiden III at other amazon sites? I had been looking for this game forever.I just got a nintendo like a month ago and hadn't played it in like 10 years at least. Best thing i ever did:)Nintendo was so freakign long ago that I forget if I had ever played this outside of the arcade.WELL I NEVER HAD, the nintendo isn't quite as good as the arcade, but only becasue the game is shorter and has a few less types of enemies.But you will still be able to pick up the bats and the chains and everything.Have fun whoopin some butt in one of the greatest nintendo games ever!
Then you need to pick up Super C, because of all the Contra games, I still find this to be the hardest of the lot.However, Super C is a game where you can't wimp out.Much like the first Contra, it takes practice to learn.However, as far as advancing the series goes, Super C does it in the way a game ought to do it.It keeps the same basic gameplay, but it throws in new enemies, harder levels and different level designs.Simply put, mastering the first Contra doesn't give you an edge in Super C.
When this game first came out, it was a whopping $44 and up!! But fortunately because I behaved well, my parents got it for me. I started playing it, and instantly fell in love with it. It has an incredible soundtrack and a great feel to it. Ninja Gaiden was good too minus the horrible dreaded stage 6 "challenge of three bosses". This game is one I keep coming back to because it commands respect. They don't make em' like this anymore. I love how the story took a more apoctolyptic dramatic feel.
